Coconut Oil Organic Refined is expeller pressed a process where the oil is extracted, refined, bleached and deodorized without the use of solvents or chemical processes. Coconut oil is solid below and liquid above room temperature because it consists mostly of short chain fatty acids. It is frequently used in cosmetic applications due to its long shelf life, resistance to oxidation and other desirable physical properties. It is naturally Non-GMO, Free of Trans Fatty Acids and is Non-Allergenic. It is considered Vegan, Lactose Free, Gluten Free, Glutamate Free, BSE Free, No Hydrogenated or Partially Hydrogenated Oils, No Preservatives.
